Food
Access to nutritious food is a basic human right. Food security is at the baseline of human need. Without it, individuals cannot thrive, let alone survive.
Water
Access to a reliable water source is a basic human right. Contaminated water is linked to transmission of disease. When water comes from improved and more accessible sources, individuals spend less time collecting it, and then they can be more productive. Better water sources increases health.
Health care
Individuals health has an impact on every aspect of life, and lack of health can directly contribute to poverty.
Education
Education is the answer to inequities in underserved and marginalized populations.
Economic in Country Support
By purchasing Bulga baskets, we support the cooperatives. All the supplies are delivered to the weavers, families have an income, weavers are paid immediately after completion of a basket, and communal money is used for water, housing, school fees, agriculture starts, and safety of the weavers.
